‘74 BBQ – Chef Paddy’s Signature Sauce

Tangy. Sticky. Backyard-built. Born from bark. Built to finish.

This isn’t a product launch. Not yet. This is a flavor with a story—and a future that’s coming into focus.

Not Just Sauce. A Signature.

I didn’t grow up thinking I’d make my own BBQ sauce. Honestly, I didn’t grow up thinking I’d cook at all.

But I knew what it meant to watch something come together from nothing—to take what you had, season it with effort, and give it to someone you love.

‘74 BBQ was built in the space between the flame and the finish. That quiet moment when the bark is set, the ribs are resting, and you need one final move that brings it all home.

Something bold. Tangy. Sticky—but never sweet. A sauce that finishes what the fire started.

Why ‘74?

‘74 isn’t just a number. It’s the year I was born. It’s the year some folks thought I wouldn’t walk, wouldn’t learn, wouldn’t do much of anything.

But I did. I grew. I cooked. I built a kitchen—and a life—with heart and hustle.

So when I bottle this sauce, I’m not just bottling flavor. I’m bottling proof. Proof that you can write your own recipe. That you can build your own table.

What It Tastes Like

  • 🍅 Tomato-forward base (no ketchup filler)
  • 🌿 Tamarind & molasses for depth
  • ❌ No corn syrup, no liquid smoke, no shortcuts
  • 🔥 Glaze, dunk, drizzle, pour—it hits every time
  • 🥄 Small batch vision. 12 oz target. But we’re still in the kitchen with it.

Where It Belongs

  • Ribs (especially my party-style method)
  • Pulled pork
  • Grilled chicken
  • Smash burgers
  • Baked beans
  • And yes... even fries.

Coming Soon?

Maybe. Probably. You tell me. This sauce started as a story—and it's still being written. For now, we’re keeping it close to the kitchen, letting it simmer a little longer.

Let’s finish the cook the right way. Let’s get after it.
