Cinco de Flavor: Where Every Dish Deserves a Piñata

From Chef Paddy’s Kitchen

Cinco de Mayo isn’t just a day on the calendar—it’s an excuse to gather, to laugh a little louder, to serve it up bold, and to build a table where the flavor swings harder than a kid with a stick at a piñata.

That feeling started early for me.

I was a kid on my first trip to Walt Disney World. We hit EPCOT’s World Showcase, wandered into the Mexican pavilion, rode the ride, and got lost in the marketplace. I begged for one of those giant sombreros. My sister picked out a piñata. And when we sat down for lunch inside that glowing pavilion, my dad—who rarely said much about meals—looked around, smiled, and said, “This is pretty great.” He was right. It stuck with me.

That mix of joy, flavor, and celebration? That’s where Cinco de Flavor comes in.

This collection isn’t about clichés. It’s not box kits and bottled mixers. It’s built from the ground up—slow-cooked short ribs, grilled corn salads, house-made queso, and churro whoopie pies that hit like a surprise inside a papier-mâché donkey. And of course, a margarita worth raising a glass to.

Because in this kitchen, we don’t chase trends—we chase taste. We bring stories to the surface. And we believe every dish deserves to bring the party with it.

So go ahead—make it loud, make it layered, make it yours. Cinco de Flavor was built for the ones who show up hungry… and leave with something to remember.

Pull up a chair. Grab a chip.
And don’t forget to swing at the piñata.
