Chef Paddy’s Shamrock Margarita
This vibrant margarita mixes Tequila Ocho Plata, fresh lime and orange, and a hint of agave. Shake it up and raise your glass—Chef Paddy-style.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Tequila Ocho Plata
- 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- ½ oz orange liqueur (Cointreau or Triple Sec)
- ½ oz fresh orange juice
- ½ oz agave syrup (or simple syrup)
- Optional: splash of pineapple juice
- Ice
- Coarse salt or Tajín, for rimming
- Lime wheel or orange twist, for garnish
- Optional: green sugar rim for festive flair
Instructions
- Rim your glass with lime juice, then dip into salt, Tajín, or green sugar.
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add tequila, lime juice, orange liqueur, orange juice, agave syrup, and pineapple juice (if using).
- Shake well for 10–15 seconds until the shaker is frosty and the drink is well chilled.
- Strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with a lime wheel or orange twist and serve immediately.
