Roast Turkey Breast with Sage
A juicy turkey breast roasted to perfection with garlic, herbs, and a touch of fresh sage for an aromatic, flavorful twist.
Ingredients
- 1 boneless, skin-on turkey breast (about 2-3 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp dried thyme (or fresh if you have it)
- 1 tbsp dried rosemary
- 1 tbsp dried sage (or 2 tbsp fresh sage, chopped)
- 1 lemon, halved
- 1 onion, quartered (optional, for roasting)
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed (optional, for roasting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Set the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Prep the Turkey: Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil all over the turkey breast. Season generously with salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, rosemary, and sage.
- Prepare the Roasting Pan: Place the onion, garlic, and lemon in the bottom of a roasting pan. Place the turkey breast on top, skin-side up.
- Roast the Turkey: Roast the turkey breast for about 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Baste occasionally with the juices in the pan.
- Rest & Serve: Remove the turkey breast from the oven and let it rest for 10-15 minutes before slicing. Serve and enjoy!

- For extra flavor, rub a little butter under the skin before roasting.
- Feel free to use fresh rosemary and thyme if you have it—this adds even more aromatic goodness.
